Global And National Actions

This year our Grade 6 classes have informed the Grade 5 students about the importance of the Sustainable Global Goals. Both classes took introduced the importance of sustainability to make change about every day habits towards the environment, local and global equity.

In teams we also built water filter to share our innovations with the First Nation communities who have been living under mercury pollutants and water advisory.  We researched about the history and the unsustainable infrastructures and living standards. We had 2 engineers from the University of Ottawa to visit us once a week for feedback about the process of the water filters designs. We fund raised to purchase coding kits to send to schools for students designed by the University of Ottawa.
